What would you really miss in a post-apocalyptic scenario?
The scenario could be like the walking dead. So no regular food supply. Your live would be basically just scavenging for survival.
What food/drink would you miss?
Is there anything that you can’t live with?
For what object would you travel many miles to get it?

The three cornerstones of civilization: Running water, fresh coffee, modern dentistry.

it's scary to hurt yourself in rural areas because there's no ambulance and stuff to rescue anyone, so I'd say emergency rooms

that, and steam servers would be down

The things I'd miss most would either be living or my sanity.
Due to medical problems I doubt I'd last long in a post-apocalypse, mainly due to lack of medicine/supplements, and if I did somehow survive I'd probably go insane since video games are the only thing I've found to keep my self sane, and I highly doubt there would be any access to electricity or electronics and if there was it probably wouldn't be available for leisure.

If I still had my family, then I'd miss the general comfort (comfy bed, hot water, tasty food, nice clothes...) the most. That followed closely by a PC with internet connection.

On a slightly related note, this reminded me of a funny graph:

I'd probably miss pizza and a few different types of cake.
Plus, it's cliché, but I'd miss video games. Like, any type of game. If I were in a post-apocalyptic scenario, I'd even take a Unity asset-flip...
What would I travel a long distance to get? A cool outfit. Might sound ridiculous, but I'd probably fare better if people think that I might be a cool guy or something. Weird, right?

i mean you actually have stuff in the walking dead, mostly everything, you can plant and hunt and stuff, as for games and that, you have that too, electricity is still a thing, you can charge consoles and stuff, the thing i think i'll miss is lazy time, and the ability to enjoy it

Probably the internet, but I think living in that scenario could be fun

Cause fighting to death over a bottle of water sounds like so much fun.

Yessss, by couchsurfing or trying out a new sport. Not having anything to eat or drink, or not being able to sleep because I have to make sure I won't get backstabbed by a ''friend'' doesn't sound fun at all.

Nothing, I'd be dead.

I read a lot of post-apocalyptic fiction, and I decided a long time ago that I am not cut out to be a survivor and wouldn't want to be.

Depends on how that post apocalyptic scenario turns out.

Good alcohol. Not that I turn up my nose to garbage (Looking at you Pabst Blue Ribbon), but Id miss having a nice, smooth whiskey.
And maybe contacts. Im blind as a bat without them, but Im pretty confident I could raid enough houses/my eye doctors office to find more or a pair of glasses that would work well enough. Besides, none of us would have a very high life expectancy, so I doubt Id need to worry much about long term.

That said, I live in the middle of the woods, surrounded by farm land, with a river on the property. Id be set for food (I fish, hunt, and garden) and water. Then all the summer homes a few miles out that would be nice early targets while people are still in the fighting over store supplies and killing each other phase.

To be honest, there's no chance I'd live more than 2 days in that scenario, same as everybody here, so I wouldn't have a chance to miss anything.

But in case I made it through for a few days.......
It's not as easy to decide as I though it would be.
Professional sport? Wikipedia? Statistics? Well, apart from the obvious ones like talking with somebody not fearing for your life or my eventually dead family members.

Isn't the more interesting question, what I wouldn't miss?
I definitely wouldn't miss social media, paying taxes and commercial soccer. Guess there's more ... but that's the ones that come to my mind first.
