All giveaways I create drop the contributor value right after I create them before they expire.

Why?

Contributor Value and Levels
What is contributor value?

What are "No Value", "Reduced Value", and "Full Value" giveaways? How do they affect my overall contributor value?

Why did my level decrease?

Perhaps a helpful FAQ title.

The full value was showing when I was creating the giveaway.

Reduced and no value are assigned manually. If there is a bundle with the game and support only gets around to add the games one day later to the "bundled" list, your contribution value will drop one day later to 15%.

https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/eIkkz/are-these-overpriced-games-being-created-to-farm-cv-on-sg-update-all-games-now-give-0-cv

And that's what you are doing with f.e Bunny's Buddy, it became free, you lost your CV.
If you create giveaways and they get added to a bundled list later, doesn't mean you keep the CV you made when doing a giveaway, it will drop later.

I also don't approve of such bad games at a very high price. but why do these games seem to be worth exactly when I create giveaways. their value plummeted before the winner was even clear, all of them!

The moderators probably noticed that the game was bundled or free after you've already made the giveaway.

If the game was free/bundled before you created the giveaway, then the value will be reduced retroactively. For example: game became free 5 days ago, you make the giveaway 4 days ago, and the moderators noticed today. The value would decrease. If you made the giveaway 6 days ago, before it became free, it wouldn't decrease.

So it's not about when you make the giveaway itself. It's about when the game was made free/bundled.

What Filipi said, and mods (already understaffed) can't be there to check 24/7 that's why CV gets retroactively reduced.

mafia game became free last week. but this I guess has not been entered into the system yet. If I had given it before it was free then would the giveaways I created always remain full value.

If I give witcher 3 today, won't I be affected when it drops tomorrow?

You can not "gift" the free version of Mafia, so it will stay as full value.

If you give witcher 3 now you will remain to get the full cv, however if ever the total price drops down by 10 euro, then yes your cv will also drop down. This site reads from steam api, so there is nothing this site can even do.

The free/bundled list only includes games that have keys.

Mafia was only directly redeemable as a Steam product, it was impossible to get a free key and gift it on Steamgifts to somebody else. If it doesn't have a giftable key, it won't be reduced.

Witcher 3 is not bundled, and it is not in a bundle right now. So if you make a giveaway for it, the giveaway would not be reduced. I dare you to try.

You must understand that it will only be reduced if you make the giveaway after a game is free/bundled, even if the Steamgifts moderators have to catch up and mark it as such.

You surely must have known the games you were giving away were free/bundled at the time you were making the giveaway?

Whenever a game is added to the Reduced CV or the No Value lists there's a date attached to it.

If you make a giveaway for the The Witcher 3 today and the game becomes bundled or free in the future, you won't be affected. You'll keep your CV.

If, on the other hand, the mods determine in the future that the game was bundled or free at an earlier date, before your giveaway was made, then your CV will be reduced accordingly.

Better bury this hope.
When i pick a decission it is in 99,9% final.
Special when i think about it 1 year as in this case.

But it is hard for me to look away when i see someone cheating or when daily 5+ people contact me to get a opinion or advice about someone or something or tell me which game gets abused etc..

I expect it will get lesser and lesser hard for me when the messages aren't so much anymore and when i have cut more bounds. The last days i leave a bunch of groups. Maybe i am finished with this task to the end of the week.
All this steps help me to reduce the "involved" feeling and limit my "i care for this site".

Well, if you took so long to make this decision, I understand that you you really are committed to it.

But it is hard for me to look away when i see someone cheating or when daily 5+ people contact me to get a opinion or advice about someone or something or tell me which game gets abused etc..

Well, you had a reputation, and a talent for this kind of work.

I'll try my best to not get you involved in such matters :)
All the best.

Just a guess. So you were giving away Punch Line, paid $0.42 for one copy and were getting 50CV for that. So you were getting worth of 100 USD just for 0.84 USD (as you were giving away two copies). In other words you were able to get 50 USD value for less then 1% of the price counted. That might be considered as unfair play and, since it also can be considered that game was widely available with a discount of 99% (compared to USD price that is used to track CV) it was bundled. Probably rest of your giveaways were bundled because of the same reason.

You should be ready and accept the idea, that you won't hold levels for too long while doing only such giveaways (exploiting the system).

Update: Sorry, you were giving away only one copy of Punch Line. That was Bunny's Buddy that you were giving away two copy of, 100 CV for 0.88 USD.
