Update

tried it and found the trick: you have to make a first huge purchase! added pic proof (check below)

As per suggestions, I'm closing this until I have some proof that the site works :)

Before you read:
I haven't tested it, so I don't know if there are issues (region exclusions etc.)

Ok, with that clear, let's move onto the important stuff:
There's this site called sixth continent, where you can buy stuff with discounts, based on how much you and other users buy.. go read how it works, they surely explain it better than I can =P
Don't know if it's already available worldwide though, sorry if not :\

Well, I've only registered and put some basic info and I already have some discounts.. for example, I can buy the Steam card worth 25€ at 15.50€!
Again, haven't tested the site yet, so I can vouch for it (but here in Italy it's been advertised on TV, so I guess it's not a complete scam.
I guess you have to continually buy from the site to have discounts, but for a one-time purchase I say it's pretty good :)

There's also the classic invite-friends-pyramid-scheme so, if you any of you wants to become my minion, I'll gladly send'em my referral mwhawhahwa =P

I'm only forwarding this discovery to you, read whatever there's to read before using the site and use it at your own risk, don't blame me if you lose your money (or if you save some) :peace:

Could it be too good to be true?

I'm still trying to understand where they hid the rip-off.
Apparently, they earn from advertising, sponsoring and such.
And I feel you need to buy constantly (even a lot) to have discounts as big as mine.. I think mine is more like a "welcome bonus"
Also, there are different types of credit and some are permament while other not, they disappear if you don't buy anything in a month.. and more than half my discount is of the latter type =P

Again, haven't tested the site yet

I recommend YOU TRY THE SITE FOR US and see if it works, and don't advertise it until you've actually done so.

It's better to only have one person scammed than a whole group :P

"but it's only 15.50€ !" ...By linking to a site, you're inherently recommending it.

It's like recommending a cheap place to buy condoms but you've never actually bought and tried any yourself, so how can you say they're safe? Your friends would hate you for that if they proved to be crap now, wouldn't they?

Anyway, you may as well close the discussion now that we have nothing to discuss.

oh, I see what you mean now..
indeed, it was hasty of me :\
I'll close and perhaps reopen after I've tried (not with Steam cards) =P

I'll remove it.. I thought it was wise to put a link to the real site as there may be fake copies around the web..

I may be wrong, but don't you risk getting your Steam account locked if you activate a gift card acquired by using some fraudulent means?

Has a pretty high score on trustpilot... Tempting. However, I will hold off until I learn more about the site's integrity and whether there's any risks to buying from them.
