Yesterday around noon-ish, I was planning to ignore all my TODOs for a few days and just lazy around binging various TV shows on Netflix for a few days of relaxation. Sharing these plans with a friend of mine, they immediately replied: "I bet there's gonna be a BundleFest or anything like that this week, to derail you from being a couch potato", to which I stubbornly answered "Noooo that's absolutely impossible, Fanatical never did a BundleFest in December".
Two hours later, BundleFestive started...

To me, this seems like a last-minute event. They didn't announce it on their blog or anywhere else (at least not to my knowledge), and it's not a BundleFest in the true sense of the word because they don't seem to bring in past bundles. This whole thing feels like a normal bundle week (since they have their recurring bundle series planned to release anyway), fattened with some last-minute bundle additions of games they found lying around (aka, "new" bundles, full of repeats). My inner #tinfoilhat Lilly would bet that this is just a marketing technique to capture the random visitors they get from Yogscast's free wheel spin, with the promises of time-limited deals and new bundles / deals.

Bought bundles and got it for free, so I guess it works with both.
