Ya same with me. I do find it hard for CounterStrike : GO though.. Enemies far away on a huge screen on 1080p res makes it things small :(

The TV I have on my (home) office doesn't support a good resolution, so I'm not using it... Used my notebook on my main TV and the image is really great, but it varies between display adapters, so I don't know if everyone will agree.

I really love high resolution sets =]

The issue with most normal tv monitors is they blur the graphics and you end up with it looking like console crap (1/3 texture quality). :(

I have an actual 36 inch PC Montior which has HDTV built in, meaning a higher refresh rate and pixel quality! :D
I just rarely use it to watch TV, perfer BlueRay and DVD movies...

Yeah, this past summer I hooked my gaming laptop up to my 42" HDTV at home, and used an Xbox gamepad, for a lot of games. Best of both worlds--graphics of a PC, comfort of a couch, controller, and big TV. It's pretty nice. Not a permanent thing, I'm back at college and so I'm back to my screen, and mostly mouse and keyboard. I'll still use the gamepad some.

I use my HDTV (32''), the only downside is that it's native resolutuion is 1360x760 and recently I've been annoyed since almost every profile background on Steam gets somewhat clipped so I can never see the whole thing :<

Valve is about the only developer that I've seen that is at least somewhat mindful of this, out of all the ones I've tried, Summer sale backgrounds and Portal 2 have clipped the least

but that's besides the point, the only other downside to a lower native resolution is large icons / borders / frames, etc.

I have a 24 " monitor, which is big enough for me atm. I do have a friend that hooked his up to a 55" HDTV though. It's great for movies and games that are good with a controller.

I got a TV a few years ago that I use as a monitor. The resolution is actually rather low, but I use it because I like the much larger display(32 inch), and with my PC getting a bit outdated, the lower resolution allows me to get higher frame rates anyway.

I have another TV(42 inch) that's 1080p, but it's too large to comfortably use it on my desk. I switch the display to that when I'm playing anything with a controller, like fighting games, racing games, and most platformers.

50" in the living room that I use for Big Picture when I feel like unwinding.

Aside from that I stick to my monitor, but I'll probably end up getting a decent TV in my room soon.
