It is probably because you need more sleep, Mille.;)

I'm usually good with 6-7 hours, but I rarely had that much at once. Since I'm working on a four shifts workorder and have a dog who requires his daily walk... sometimes I have to do 2 batch of 3-4 hours sleeping.

so wonky a rhythm, last night i got two hours after trying for five. from what i can tell, 7 is perfect for me, but even ten minutes more or less makes me wake up tired; here lately, i've just been going til i literally crash, usually around 0500, waking up anywhere between 1000 and 1600; even when was employed, there were little oddities, i.e. i was never able to sleep on Sunday nights, so would wake up late afternoon Sunday from whenever i passed out Saturday night/Sunday morrning, to stay up until about 1700 Monday. nyeh

I do my best with 4-6 hours a night. Lately I've been doing 9-11 hours though... way too much.

And yet, they say people who sleep more will live longer. CONUNDRUM

10 hours is the amount I need to feel satisfied and fully rested. Based on my tests I should sleep at least 7.30 hours to not feel like a trash, anything less than that is gonna ruin my mood (with 5 hours being absolute minimum I can't focus without, but I try to avoid it as much as possible and have 7.30 as bare minimum instead). Overall I aim for 8-9 if I have things to do next day, otherwise 9-10.
I sleep too much

I prefer 9-10 hours sleep but I rarely get the opportunity. If nothing else my cat feels the need to stab her claws into my eyes if she feels I am being too lazy...

Last night, not much, maybe 3 - 4 hours. Watching my sister's house for a few days, and they are right next to a road with heavy traffic. So noisy.

5-6 is about my average on the week days with 7-8 on the weekends. Used to live with less when I was working nights, but I prefer not to sleep too much. It feels like time wasted /shrug.

I'll generally 'sleep' for 7-10 hours, but its usually quite shallow and I'm almost always tired no matter how much sleep I get

I usually get 5-7 hours. Too much more and I feel like I'm dragging all day. Less and I actually am dragging all day.

I aim for ten hours of sleep every night, usually get about nine. After chatting with some folks, it appears I may be something of an outlier.
How many hours do you sleep each night?
