Travel is one option but if you don't want to travel somewhere for the free time, do some change in your house (example: paint the walls with a new color) and then enjoy it while relaxing. :-)
Though the travel to somewhere you haven't been yet would be the best I guess. :-)

Hello, fellow SteamGifters, have I got a question for you!
I'm about to take the first real vacation ever and now I'm kind of stuck at what to do or where to go. Let's say you have a week or two of free time, average amount of money (seriously, no billionare here) and no companions. How do you spend your vacation? I though about just being home and lounge around, play games, etc. But I feel that it would be a waste of the vacation time (it doesn't grow on trees, you know).
So, how do you/should you spend your vacation time alone? I'm welcome to any ideas.
Meow.
Edit:
As I predicted, lot of you guys are suggesting travel. While I already traveled a lot around my country (Czech Republic), I'm a little afraid to travel alone aborad. But I think I would be able to go somewhere for a day or to. Sooo, any tips for a one day trip or a weekend trip around Europe? A little reminder, I do not own a car or can go by plane (too expensive, unless there are some price steals around that I don't know about).
