System Shock 2. It's not the most scary game, but it's a very tense and immersive experience from start to finish and a damn good game. Can't wait for the upcoming remake by Nightdive Sutdios!

It's Outlast. Because that was the first horror game that really scared me.

Resident Evil 5-6. And since i played 'em in co-op, it's rather comedy than horror. When some freak suddenly jumps at you it's scary, but when it happens to your buddy it's hilarious!

I don't like horror games too much because I'm an absolute chicken, lol, but I do love zombie movies! Dead Island is a game I really enjoyed because it felt like playing as a character in a zombie movie set in a beautiful tropical landscape to explore with lots of action-packed gameplay!

I really can't handle horror games. The last one I played was Half Life Alyx, if that counts. I know it scared the shit out of me. And since it's all VR that meant I was panicking and dropping the ammo when I tried to reload, and flailing my grenades around wildly.
There's this one stealth section where you're just creeping around this facility. And if the monster, Geoff, hears you it's game over. Horrifying.

I'm terrible at horror games. The only one I have any appreciable amount of time in is Phasmophobia. Got to spend a lot of time with friends playing that during covid :-)

It's a co-op (can be played single player) ghost hunting game. Semi-randomized maps, lots of ghost types with different properties. Good fun.
