still won't give them any money but might pick up hades with the free 10 dollars,, probably won't play it but it'll be another free game I might at some point play if they make their launcher something worthwhile

heck no i can pay for my games myself . instead of giving 10 dollars they should invest the money to match steam's service and features instead of having just an empty storefront from the early 2000s and taking games hostage there just cause they have the money to do so

2fa was the reason I failed to successfully signup to Epic (it was a requirement, not an option). The fake login attempts I got emailed about are easily the reason I chose not to go any further. $10 aint going to lure me.

Why Observation is 10$ in the OP but in 18.90€ in Europe (with a pre-order discount applied)? Is it possible the US price is half the european price?

Strange. It looks like Europe has much higher prices. Dont understand this price diversification. I see much higher prices in Poland, and would expect logicaly lower or similiar in Poland. Good to know.

Funny thing, if they started the launcher with these kinds of promotions after the free games campaign, I'd be tempted to jump into supporting them. But they had to resort to bribing devs and publisher to actively pull their games from Steam instead of actually competing with Steam. Nah I'm not going to take the free 10 bucks. I may be a lazy bastard according to some people because I'm too lazy to download another launcher, but hey, I'm a lazy bastard with principles. :P
