Game getting mixed reviews, a bunch saying "can't find anyone online" why most multiplayers just die out or go f2p as a last attempt.
Trust me it will bite the dust, like so many other multiplayer games out there on steam.
And as to the comment above yes it shows singleplayer too but genre says mostly:Genre: Action, Casual, Massively Multiplayer..

But it was planned to go F2P all along? Like all the F2P games that go paid-founders on Steam really. Collect easy cash from player buy-in first, then available for everybody.
That goes as far back as League of Legends really ;) (when was that on Steam as a paid game, 2009 or 2010?)

Okay that point is taken, but even if you paid $20 bucks for it or it's free, still a game without players, you don't have much of a game at all.
There has been many attempts though in the past to hand out a bunch of copies, on gleam.io but even through this site (like i won a Eldevin Dlc) to get players in certain dieing multiplayer games.
My personal gripe against it, so many thinking they invented the next WoW or Dota or whatever.. or just that the money is in multiplayer gaming and their transactions, when it just isn't. Just a handful seems to survive.

I never said all multiplayer games fail.
Most will do great at first actually because it's new, people giving it a chance, then to get either bored or find the faults in it.
PUBG isn't that old to really have been given a chance either way, this could eventually drop in price too or worse, but it's also gets mixed reviews on steam already (not so much about player base, but cheaters).
Anyway just an opinion, nothing more, whenever i just read such things, i take it with a grin and move on. But just keeps affirming for me not to go too much in multiplayer games, ever, i got a few exceptions like Forge of Gods, but i am not spending money on it, nor i have to wait on players to come online.
With single player games i can always play whenever i want to, as long as i want to, not worry about transactions, not worry about waiting on others to come online. If someone likes that sort of thing, by all means go have fun with it.

Hyun K (producer) said "we will never sell anything that gives a player an edge over another," and clarified that hyper cubes, Hyper Universe's loot boxes, cannot be purchased with real money.
"There will be packages that bundle Hypers, skins, slots, and emotes to give you some savings for wanting it all," the update reads. What if some items are ridiculously high priced so you can basically only get them (or have a fair chance of getting them) when you cash?

I don't know the full extent of the censorship but from what I've read they reduced the boob sizes of female characters and removed "boob physics". They also covered them up a bit more.

meh, im fine with that, i guess, im sure they will put an "uncensor" button in the options like most of their games,

If you want a good 2d Moba then go for Awesomenauts.
This game is a 2d brawler not a moba afaik.
