There wasn't a scam, they were disabled because of holding contests - Not related at all to the keys - and something many groups do also.
They gave game keys out for free, I was never asked for something in return out of the 4/5 keys they've given me. No scam there.

A lot of people never got their keys. I'm part of the unlucky group who's being told that someday, if they ever get their web site complete, they might take care of all the keys that never got delivered.

That isn't a scam on their part, they didn't take any of your money nor benefit from it. The only people who benefited was the developers who got your votes, but still that doesn't cost you anything but a few seconds of time. Yes, it stinks not to receive a key when promised one, but that doesn't make it a scam...
Plus, they addressed problems like this when they had their group...seeing as it's "gone" it's a bit hard to tell liars from people who are actually having issues. I'm sure they have a lot to take care of, on top of creating a webpage in an attempt to get the group back up and running.

I guess I'm just a bit bitter about the whole situation. I understand that the group being disabled is a huge setback and that they need time to get the site up and ready. In the meantime, however, many of us are not getting what we were promised. "Help us get greenlit and get a key." I helped, I jumped through every hoop, I got nothing in return. I haven't completely given up on them but I'm getting more and more skeptical as time passes.

You know what you have to do ?

I would vote twice if i could, simply because of the easy voting & redemption process and without any data mining in the process
This is how you do it

You should receive a gift for the game in the Humble Store and get a Steam key once greenlit, as stated in the instructions linked.

Voted one hour age, but on the page where you can obtain a humble link I see only "not yet" under both Greenlight voe and Humble link.

Exactly. And a lot of people who vote for something just because they are promised a free copy of it probably won't either. It's funny how people will jump at the chance to get anything for free, no matter how bad it might actually be. And then you have those people who want it for no other reason than to add that +1 to the number of games in their library. Never understood that (stupid) mentality either.....
And yes, I agree that Flashout 2 game did look decent.

"0 KEYS LEFT, THANKS FOR PARTICIPATING"
Here, follow the instructions.
First come first served, there's a "% of keys left" on the site (maybe a useless % indicator, even at 0% you can get your game actually, but don't wait to get yours, there's probably a limited amount of keys available anyway).
Greenlight page
At least they are honest, look at the url name ^^
