If you see:
"MWNL5 Day 1"
in the list of licenses, then the games and DLCs were added.
They will not be added with individually recognizable names, but should be visible as owned in the Steam Store and in your library.

Go to Total War: Warhammer page and check the DLC with the name the Grim and the Grave. If it say it's in your library then you should have the other too. It was Viking: Battle for Asgarth (or something)

The email confirm seems to be frozen despite having comfirmed the email already...whenever I go to the page it asks to comfirm email AGAIN, then freezes when I hit Confirm, every time...tried Edge, chrome, IE, and FF with exact result on each browser. Must be broken! and no free games on acct either

Did you link your steam account?
The day before the event my account was logged out of the MWNL site and I had to do it again.
Since then I check back to the site each day just to make sure I'm still linked.
Give it some time but if you're still not getting the bundle licenses contact Sega that there is an issue.
This happens every year where people follow all the steps and just don't get the freebies due to errors.
As long as you have email proof that the system is sending you confirmation emails they'll help you out sooner or later (mostly later).
But you have to get in now because there are thousands on people signed up with different issues contacting them.

Received my day 1 around 12 hours after day 2 started, but when I woke up at the start of day 3 today I already had day 2. Seems to vary a lot and it does say it can take up to 24 hours. As long as you've registered and the goal was passes you'll get them just not instantly.

If you go to the MWNL site, there's Today's Bundle. Those are the games/DLCs and coupons that we get if the goal is reached. So usually it is one full game and some DLCs ;)

I do it with Idlemaster. This method was posted earlier.
It's possible and this method can be use for idling any game.
-Open notepad.
-copy start "" "steam-idle.exe" 231430 (this is appid of CoH2 and you can change it whatever you want to idle. Just paste the appid.)
-save it as a .bat file
-copy .bat file to the idle master folder.
-then open the .bat file which you created.
Idle master should start to idle the game without no install and no login. But dont forget that steam client has to be opened.
