Why do people always say "Thanks!" on everyone game?

I don't want you to be annoyed. Because I am a nice person and don't want you to be annoyed by the chatter within my giveaways, I put you on a little nifty list :) You're welcome ^^

You shouldn't be annoyed for seeing people saying thanks for the giveaway, even if they don't win.

Even in some giveaways you ARE required to say thanks or something very specific, or you might end up in the blacklist (that happens because you have to read before saying anything, so be careful out there!)

Just ignore the comments that say thanks! Even if it's there, you can just read the other varied comments around!

You're kidding me, right? One in 10 was doing it before blacklists, now it's one in 100. How does this still bother people?

Theres a myth if u say "Thanks" to every GA ur chance incrase 10% :v haha
but im only say thanks if won the GA XD

when I first started here I thought it was customary for the site since when you start you're level 0, and most of the L0 giveaways have lots of thanks comments. I didn't realize most people didn't want comments until later, especially after I had done several giveaways.

Why do people make a post about a topic that's already been beaten to death on this site rather than use the search feature? Now THAT'S annoying!!!
