It should be easy to implement and doesn't make sense why it isn't already.

As it is now, if you are a member of a group and you win a giveaway then leave the group you can no longer view the details of that giveaway.

However, instead of it just listing the Giveaway name and the "Error You do not have permission to view this giveaway, since you are not a member of the required Steam groups." it should also list "Giveaway Creator" because that information isn't private or anything i.e. if you visit the creators page you can see the giveaway in their created list but not see the creator from the giveaway (do you see the flawed logic?).

Instances where this has caused me issue is when I've won a giveaway and then subsequently left the group that that won giveaway was for some point prior to winning. This just creates problems as I have no idea who to contact in either situation: knowing who to accept friend request for Steam gift, to inform creator gift/key is invalid/dupe/region-restricted, all the things that make sense for winner and creator to communicate. It just creates a problem and solves no problems by not including the creator on the error page.

Hope someone up there sees the logic (I'M LOOKIN' AT YOU CG :P)

Don't go to the trophy cup icon. Instead, go to your profile, then click on the number next to "games won." You'll see a list of the giveaways you've won and the name of the creator of said giveaways.

It's actually not included there, because the gift is not marked as Received or Not Received yet.

The giveaway page will still state the winner is "Anonymous".

However once I set the status as Received or Not Received it will show up there and just reinforces my logic that the data is publicly able to be correlated and a "giveaway creator" field needs to be included on the giveaway error page.
