A thank you thread of a former leecher

Look, I am only trying to HELP you there bud (by not reporting you), i don't make the rules, but you break them and probably didn't even read them. Not sure why you can't grasp that fact. Would you do the same here if you won a gift and want to give it away on Steamcompanion?

Noone can predict the future and tell whenever a game becomes free (and alot of indie games became free in the past year).
And if a game becomes free like the ones on Indiegala, steamgifts does remove them .
There is that big difference if a game is free to a limited amount of people or free for everyone, also i have given away alot of other stuff.

I don't really like the idea of trying for things you aren't sure you will use; that's rude and offensive to the other people entering that particular contest.

That being said, there's nothing inherently wrong with your logic, so long as it's not internally redirected, there's nothing inherently wrong with offering the key elsewhere: It is, after all, better to give it to someone who actually wants the game; and noone would complain if you won it through a corporate giveaway, so any complaints are a matter of nuance.

But, back to my first point, you may be logically in the right, but that doesn't mean I agree with you entering contests you don't plan to follow up on, either; Maybe be more careful in considering what giveaways you enter, in the future.

Of course, while you're golden here, in regards to Steamcompanion, you should most certainly be banned for betraying that trust, disrespecting the giveaway host, and breaking known site rules.

ALL THAT SAID- as someone who is looking forward to getting a copy of British Relaxation Simulator 2015, your attempts to become a non-leecher are appreciated.

Just please be a bit more thoughtful in the future :)

I am not being mean, but if someone specifically makes a thread with such topic while he gives something away that he won from another site, well that's wrong.
He broke a rule (that i did not make) we must also give him that.

I have said my last bit about it, i made my point, people can decide what they want to do with it.

Being considerate of respecting both others [giving away gifts] and others [offering a place to get gifts so long as you follow a few easy, totally understandable rules] is not at all being mean.

If someone slapped a couple other people in the face, and we said 'HEY, STOP THAT.', yeah, we might be shouting when we don't need to be, but that doesn't make us the mean ones.
That he then said 'Sorry.' [by giving the game away to someone who actually wants it] doesn't negate the fact that he broke rules, trust, and respect in the first place.
