Blame the exploiters for the lack of achievement/free games thing.

That should teach us. When Steam gives us lemons, don't use them to make lemonade for profit.

Those "free games" convinced me to purchase some other games, like Killing Floor. They should have do something unique or different.

I expected the same thing this year, but some people say Valve lost a lot of money because of it.

EDIT: Well, at least we do not have to play some crappy F2P games just to get achievements, lol.

I was really looking forward to it but now I'm very disappointed. It was amazing last year, playing games to win achievements and coal was so much fun and it was very unique.

So...flash deals it is then, otherwise for me at least the Fall Sale had better prices. :)

Not even that great of deals. Amazon has better prices on some games.

I wouldn't even mind if they skip the part of free games for coal, but I'd loved to have some special achievements so that you can have fun playing old forgotten games in your library.

This sale is officially pointless now. I mean 90% of the games going on sale have already been on sale over the year, so what's the point in doing summer sale all over again, just because idk, 10 more games will go on sale.

What no chance to get a free TF2 hat, wow now I know steam is getting cheap.
