Its hard to pick one. Except the latest trilogy, and Attack of the Clones. Those are awful. Although the latter seems slightly better in retrospect. And it led to an incredibly rich clone wars lore, including Republic Commando, which is rather awesome.
I would choose The Phantom Menace as favourite. Was it objectively the best SW film? Ehm, I am not so sure myself, but personally I love it a lot.
Besides, it gave us Duel of Fates, which is kind of an instawin for me.

The best is Empire, easily, but my favorite is the original Star Wars movie.

I need to watch the Star War series. I have no idea which it is so I voted with the most popular.

I'm not the biggest SW fan out there, far from it, but I do like 'em quite a lot. Now which one was the best, hmm, that's a tough one... I did enjoy the prequel trilogy, but I understand why some people had a problem with it. Would I say it was worse then original trilogy? I don't think so. But I also wouldn't say that is was better. Now to chose one film is a bit tough to me. I've usually watched them as a trylogy so they kinda blend together into one thing or two - one per trilogy and I'm not such a hardcore fan to really distinguise what happened in which one...
eh, and now you made me want to rewatch Star Wars again...
