It's my personal view on this, but maybe not create dozen new threads for every game discount, rather one with listing all of them (and game-specific only when new low reached), especially considering Witcher 3 has this sale quite many times

it's like somebody wrote in one of my discord channel that RDR 2 is -50%, then I literally counted days with SteamDB and realized that during 295 days there was 138 days where game had half the price :D
EDIT: for Witcher 3 I counted 150 discounted days from first -80% date (which was 587 days ago)

I think there might be a use if it's a niche game, I actually learned of a nice puzzle game being 90% off on SG. I never heard of it before, bought it and was happy. But everyone and their parents heard of The Witcher 3, there is 0 need to give it a spotlight like that

For the sake of reducing spam, as well as for the sake of making sure the content posted is relevant and helpful, Deals forum protocol is to only cover historical lows or discounts that haven't been reached for a very long time.
On that note, pretty darn sure Witcher 1 is still free on GOG if you sign up for GOG Galaxy, so posting a discount for that game without also referencing that information may actually be outright harmful to users.
