The problem with giveaways for mistmatched items is that sometimes SG checks your profile for unactivated wins and because the game given is different than the game registered it'd mark the gift as unactivated, which could lead to some trouble for the winner. Unless the special edition has this specific dlc, in which case I don't think there'd be an issue.
Either way, that sort of stuff is good to be zealous about. Hehe.
