Deathloop. Last Arkane game I played. Not a bad one. Interesting ideas but..... in the end not really a good game either. It could have been so much more.
Concept is a 10/10 (one of my favorite plot tropes), implementation is a 4/10, and story is a 3/10. We get a solid 6/10 game with an unpleasant aftertaste. Unfortunately, with the departure of Colantonio from the company, Arkane simply faded away.
Man, I really feel like I'm in the minority because I adored this game. There were absolutely things in the game that were misses and should have been developed further, especially the "invasion" aspect, but I still loved it. Dishonored is still better though.
Hey it's totally fine. I'm disapointed because I expected a lot from Arkane. But should it have been made as the first game company, I would have found it very nice.
Plus I loved DA: Veilgaurd while the vast majority of internet hated it, so I can't throw stones at you for Deathloop :D
I like the game, still need to finish it. I think my save was lost (the area/entry I unlock were still there, but all my equipment and skills are gone) when I took a break from gaming. Now I kinda need to restart from the beginning.
Not a bad game, should you have mid expectations. There are some nice things here and there (the level design is really well done. The story....not so much)
The only similiarity it shares with dishonored is on the fact you have nice things to use but if you want to complete the game the "good" way, you should not use them.

I liked it so far, and as you wrote before is not that much of dishonored, but I'll say is closer to the prey dlc mooncrash, sadly the game started crashing up after I unlocked more loadouts and the community solutions didn't work, guessing is a mix of poor optimization and running on the minimum requirements...

A shame you experiences some crashed, but yeah game is not very well optimized I'm afraid.
