Description

You know how when you fart, you can stand the smell? So what if you farted silently, but it smelled like nothing, and the person next to you also farted silently, but his stunk. Would you subconsciously think it was yours and therefore not mind?

Inquiring minds wish to know.

I don't think one could help but think it was their own fart, if truly silent; therefore, certainly a majority of people would chastise their own tush. No? No. #StampOutSmug, #FeartheFart, #poundsign

It's like a fartception. I wonder if t his would be applicable for a science project. We could call it Fart Science.

My theory is that fart recognition is based on two factors:

  • What you ate

  • What your intestinal bacteria fauna is like

Based on the above two, we each have a unique scent that I believe is distinguishable from someone else's flatulence. So unless the above two factors are virtually identical, I think you might actually be able to discern that someone else's fragrance is mingling with your own.
