I am kind of lazy today - So here come some of the weirdest animals on earth:
The Aye-Aye
Found in Madagascar, the Aye-Aye is the world’s largest nocturnal primate. Often noted for its unique foraging techniques, it taps on trees until it finds larvae, gnaws a hole in the wood, and inserts its middle finger to pull them out.
the name came about because after it jumped on a man and jabbed it's finger in their eye an assistant asked what was on his face and the man replayed "my eye, MY EYE" so they took to calling it an aye aye! totally not made up by the way.

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) considers lemurs to be the world's most endangered mammals, noting that as of 2012 up to 91% of all lemur species face extinction within the next 20 to 25 years. As of 2018, that percentage has been raised to 95%, with 105 lemur species out of 111 facing an imminent threat of extinction.
Theses animals are all either endangered or even critically endangered. I thought about posting the WWF endangered species list but that list really breaks your heart just by sheer length :(
