A giveaway for Cozy Gaming Corner

Something happened and I wanted to clear it up. Not related to this or any giveaway. If you want the cat game, I'll give it away towards the end of the month. :)
Unfortunately I can't go into details. All that matters is that everything is fine. :) For another game I was saying... you can take a look at my previous giveaways. Just don't say it anywhere. ;)

PS: The "Minimum Real CV sent - 100" SGTools rule that you're using is redundant because all level 4+ users, by definition, have at least $100 Real CV :)
The only case where this kind of rule makes sense is if you restrict the GA to higher level users using SGTools but don't put any level restrictions on the actual GA. This gives you the ability to selectively share the GA link with users who don't meet the level/CV requirement but who you feel should be able to participate. They would show up as "Invalid Entries" for bypassing the SGTools check but you can ignore that.
PPS: I can think of two other use cases for such a rule:
To check for fractional levels. e.g. Real CV sent > $175 is equivalent to checking if a user is at level 4.5
To create complex rules e.g. (Real CV sent > $100 AND Real Ratio > 1.0) OR (Real CV sent > $150 AND Real Ratio > 0.8)

I think I'll stick to the real ratio then if I ever use this again. I don't mind low levels or new people entering as long as they give back at least a bit. Hence the real ratio being 1. Then I would set the GA at level 1 or 2.
How would I make a giveaway blocked for the collectors/card miners for example? The ones with more than 5000 (for example) wins? Can you do that?
You can use a rule like this to block those with more than X wins: num_won <= 5000
You can also set a limit based on the number of games they own, as reported by the Steam API . e.g. num_owned_games <= 2000
Unfortunately, there are sock puppet accounts that are used as alts that have very few games and wins so these rules won't block them. You'll have to review the entries manually and block any such users by blacklisting them. I haven't seen many cases like that in the Cozy Corner but sadly they do exist. I can share some examples with you in private if you'd like.

Thank you though, I don't want to bother you too much, you already thought me loads. I can't control everything and I don't want to bother too much either. If they make different accounts and put them up to level 2 for example, It can't be helped. I don't want to block new people from entering because of those bad apples.

I personally have no problem blacklisting people if I feel that they're up to no good, but I know that others feel differently and don't like to use blacklisting. You should do what makes you feel good. It's sometimes better not to worry about such things because, like you said, you can't control everything.
Fortunately, this little corner of SG is pretty wholesome and mostly free of "bad apples".
