Saying Thanks without context like a bot will result in being blacklisted. Saying it if you win is fine, however.

This one's ok, the on on the Advent Dark Force is kinda what I meant by no context though. The point was to stop mindless "thanks" on every giveaway, as I feel saying thanks to every single one without regard for the content is insincere. However, in this comment you've:
Told me the DLC you have
Told me the DLC you don't have
Acknowledged the description.
Said thank you after.
I'd say that's plenty of context. So, good luck!

I like to always say thanks because i think it's just polite.
I'm always surprised when i enter a GA that has over 500 entries & i'm the 1st person to comment with a Thank-You, lol.
Each to his/her own though.
