As far as I am aware, it is perfectly acceptable to delete a giveaway before it ends, and what you do with the key is up to you. It would be rather poor form, however, to do something like that. You don't want to give the wrong impression.

Hmm it might be poor form but I find it better if someone who wins will actually play, which isn't that common from what I've seen :P Either way, it was way too late, and I probably won't do that from now on unless I have an extra key then I'll just offer that. :)
