Thanks for the GA's. Hopefully the new game is a good one... I did like Tales, but it's ending was slightly dissapointing and it wasn't much of a puzzle game.
Telltales games are very different from the original monkey island games. I think the new game will end be more like the old ones, especially with Ron Gilbert in charge. There is no guarantees of course since games are always a product of their time, and 1991 is a very different time compared to today.
If you played Thimbleweed Park you know how Ron Gilbert designs these games (to this day), good writing, excellent puzzles and usually an abrupt (and surprising) ending.
Sorry for this mini-rant, on some subjects I just get carried away.
Well, Sam and Max season 1 and 2 were still fairly similar, but after TWD they definitely went the cinematic route, which also started to show in S&M season 3.
Guess I'll need to give Thimbleweed a try now.
