Yes, I try to work under that assumption as well, but even in a second language, I tend to use at least "please" if I am asking for something.
But, as I said, it may partly boil down to me being older and having been raised with a lot of attention to politeness and social interaction. The latter may not be as easy for younger people, considering how little time they spend interacting with people in "real life" instead of online (which has a lot of limitations, especially when it comes to reading and interpreting facial expressions and reactions or realising the effect of your behaviour on others).
I noticed that with my youth basketball team, who - especially due to Covid - had a lot of ... interesting behaviour patterns. It has improved considerably after a year, but I had to put up some ground rules and the first few months were rough.
I try to assume the best and take these things into consideration, but I also point out where they fall short of expected social behaviour (which includes a minimum amount of respect and politeness). And of course I adhere to the same rules, otherwise it wouldn't work.

It's not a big secret, but it's just a free tester project to get used to launching Unity games on Steam. I've launched a couple of other games before on Steam, but they were using other engines like Construct and Godot.
Ferret Frenzy on Steam. The base game will be free on Steam and itch, and two optional DLCs will be available for the "Even Frenzier" edition: one DLC featuring cosmetics and the other has the original soundtrack (OST).
