For once, i'm quite glad i don't have either an Nvidia card and updated drivers.

Let's hope this gets fixed soon.

That's the one I use...the new 320.49 is really bad though, at least for me it was much worse.

Huh, well that makes sense. I experienced so many crashes after installing that driver. I have 320.49 right now which is a little better, but still not ideal. Perhaps I should downgrade.

From what I see, 314.22 are the most stable driver right now, reverted back to it. I guess the vast majority of people are using that too.

Yup those are what I went back to and they are very stable.

The article is more than a month old and the issue has been fixed already.

no not entirely.
new driver fixed many yes but still there are a lot of errors with the new driver.
I still suggest to use the much more stable version 314.22.

I tried using 320.49 with my 560 Ti, but I was getting system lockups over time, so I went back to 314.22.

[Edit: It seems it was the new "GeForce Experience" program that was causing the lockups. They have since fixed it and I've gone back to the 320.49 drivers. Everything seems fine, now.]

No matter what driver I use, my graphics card still crashes and recovers when I start a youtube video or play a game =\ I even rolled back to 306.97 and still no fix

why would someone bump a 2 month old thread .___.

Because I was going to make a new one asking for another solution, so if I started a new thread it would've just been closed cause this one was already open...

This is so old they fixed the problem fast and are way past those drivers. I'm on version 327.23

I have 314.22 and all drivers past that continue to cause lots of problems. There are lots of people who have that problem...

That necro...if you're using a 400/500 series card, try 314.22; everything else is broken

It's an old GTS 250, might be why but once i updated to the new ones, no matter what one I go to it still crashes on me. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and everything. No dice

Time for you to get a new card?
If not, try the some of the new driver version series from 320.xx.

320.18 was out in May.. I updated last week to 327.23 which is the latest non-beta set of drivers (sept 19).

I'm pretty sure the issues mentioned in that article have been fixed since then. It now also comes with the GeForce Experience software which can analyze your Rig and help you set your games to optimum settings but mostly can let you update your drivers without uninstalling and reinstalling the whole package.

Do you know if there's a way to trick geforce experience into thinking you have a different CPU?

I'm still on 314.22, anything past that causes weird lookups for me, If wasn't for that, I probably would've updated to this new one :P

Now that someone has raised this thread from the dead, I'll go ahead and add my 2 cents' worth.

Since replacing my 560 Ti (fried by the 320 driver), I've been using 314.22, also. It's buggy, but it has been working better than all of the newer drivers. I haven't tried 327.23, yet, however.

314.22 is the newest one that will work for me as well. I've tried every single new driver since and they all freeze my computer and mess stuff up. :(

I have a GTX560 as well
