I have a GTX 1070 Gaming PC, should I buy a PS4+Some Games? UPDATED w/ Giveaway

Saying that you are tired of pc games just sounds like you are tired of gaming as a whole. But if there are some PS4 exclusives that you are interested in, go for it. Since you have a good computer and a ton of games you it seems you have a budget for it.

You can just get a controller + PlayStation Now and play most of those in your PC ...

If you have the opportunity to buy the systems on which are the games you want to play, than why not buy them?. :)

Why not get some new triple A titles on PC?

-Batman: Arkham Knight
-Max Payne 3
-Shadow Warrior 1&2
-Wolfenstein: The New Order

There is a lot of nice games you don't have. Find a good deal and grab them :)

Yeah, buy the PS4 for the games. You won't regret it.

If the games you really want to play are console exclusives then by all means pick up a console.

Otherwise, if you're bored with your 800-game library, I don't see why you won't get bored of the console after you run through a few exclusives.

You need to identify if the core difference between consoles and PCs (particularly the genre biases they facilitate a little) are the problem, because if it isn't really a console vs. PC thing after you run through those exclusives there's a decent chance you'll just be bored again.

So forget all the advice and engage in some introspection about about why you're bored with PC games a week after the winter sale when the opportunity to pick up any of the many, many good PC games seemingly passed you by, as well as the fact that you have to have a decent backlog of games you wanted at some point, and purchased, but haven't played at all, and they're just sitting in your library.

Take the money you'd spend on games and research charities to donate your cash to, it will alleviate your boredom and make you feel good.

It doesn't matter where and on what you play be it a potato, a Nokia 3310 a PS4 or a PC. As long as it makes you happy go for it no matter what others say.

Seeing how Winter Sale ended not-even 2 weeks ago and you're bored with games you have, sounds more like you're just bored with gaming in-general and IMO getting console we'll only extend your suffering...

If you want Unchrted, just play Tomb Raider more than that 1 hour, games are similar enough. And if you don't find it fun, why do you think very similar game will be fun?

I had been thinking the same thing. But games are too expensive on consoles compared to pc here. So i gave up on buying it. If i can rent or something i would probably do that. :p
