I need help guys, my memory usage is stuck at 67% all the time, i have only the basic procceses from win7, but i'm using the 32 bit version when i got 2 GB of ram and 2 cpu's, what could be causing the problem?

Well 67% of 2GB of ram doesn't sound high to me.

yea but the problem is that each 5-6 seconds im droppping frames in every game, down to 10-15 for example cs 1.6, i run it at 100, but each 5-6 seconds it drops to 10-15 or randomly, before it wasnt going higher than 20 or 30 maximum

open up the taskmanager and post a pic of running processes sorted by RAM usage

Edit: I bet win7 should be able to run at less than 1Gb.

Im using laptop and for 1-2 mins max! it goes lower to 40% and gets silent, and after that 1-2 mins pass, it goes brr grrr hrrr loud and memory usage goes to 67-70% again, while CPU is at around 15% while playing games, and with a post above i said that it drops frames in every game randomly, but its really annoying cause it goes low to ~10-15 for few seconds

Just some of the top memory users there account for 20% of 2 GB on their own. Call it 10% for everything else and double for Super/Prefetching and we get to 60%, in the ball park of where you're at. These are rough estimates, but the point is that your computer is holding a lot of RAM in reserve to load stuff faster. If you start running out of RAM the OS should release some of those resources for other processes to use. 50-75% usage shouldn't be a problem, and empty RAM isn't doing you any good.

Though really, 2 GB is tiny. You should look into a 64 bit OS with at least 4 GB of RAM, if not 6 or 8.

the best solution is always to upgrade XD
I've had to use a 1Gb RAM laptop for a year... I played "return to Castle Wolfenstein" at max settings and "Half Life" on low settings. Totally worth it XD

a pc takes a while to completely turn on (loads some things on background), so I'd say it's normal for it to use extra resources in the first 5min it has been on. Yeah, give the laptop a few extra minutes before gaming.

Your prtscreen shows it's using 43% including ~300MB for Firefox & Steam, so the OS is using around 600MB or 30%. It looks good to me :)
If you have a lack of RAM, try completely closing (in the taskbar) Steam, if you need more RAM when playing, some games don't need steam to run. You can try a "Game Booster" if RAM still is an issue, imo these only really help with RAM. Also, if not already, close Firefox when playing games that need the RAM. Slow downs will happen if the game needs more RAM when none is available, as the OS will write unused stuff on RAM to disc (so that the game can use that RAM), and writing to disc is slow.

performance tip: put power settings to High Performance
battery tip: put it back to balanced or less

about slowdowns and noise, try to monitor the temperature while playing (or check the max temp after playing) then post the result here so I can take a look. A program like "Core Temp" or similar should work.

IMPORTANT EDIT: get rid of WINRAR asap LOL. I recommend 7zip, which as a bonus won't be using a whopping 3MB on background :p (joke (partially))

I know the Steam monster game causes Firefox to use a lot of memory. Have you checked your task manager to see what process is using so much of your memory?

Open up task manager, check "show processes from all users," and sort by memory usage.

Debug in resource manager.

I have 8GB of RAM and it's always >30% usage, but I recommend you to use some browser that is NOT Chrome, Chrome uses 1GB for me with no tabs open, only the extensions in the background. Also, some 4GB RAM isn't that expensive, and it's 100% worth.

Probably you have allocated memory in BIOS and set is as fixed. You can reserve RAM for video card and drivers. It will make some of the blocks unaccessible to other applications.

How much hard drive space do you have free? (It could be having trouble with the swap file if that's low.)
Also, I recommend SysInternals "Process Explorer" and "AutoRuns" tools for debugging 99% of Windows issues.
Use Process Explorer like a replacement for Task Manager, and AutoRuns to find out everything that runs on system startup (uncheck things to disable without actually deleting their entries from the Windows Registry, just in case you discover you actually need them).

C: 32 GB D: 256GB

I'll download those tools and will try to debug the issues. Hopefuilly it'll be enough.

no need for AutoRuns, wtf. nor to replace Task Manager with something else in 99% of situations
just press "windows button + R", type in "msconfig" go to startup and there it is. you can also take a cautious look at non-microsoft services

I barely use C drive (install everything on D), yet I calculated 100GB to be a good value. I'd say 64 is an absolute minimum, so you might want to take a look at that.

Nothing exceptional there. Even Firefox is strangely low. This is just how much 2 GB is enough for nowadays.
If you can live with a less fancy browser, try Midori, it has very low memory footprint, but that's about it.

I've had issues where Firefox SAID it was using, for example, 900mb of ram but when I closed it, I would "magically" have 2GB free all of the sudden. Firefox basically ate up my ram and reported a different number to task manager. Not sure why that was happening. Maybe it's a similar case for you?

You just have very low amount of RAM. Windows by itself is going to eat some. You should consider upgrading to 4GB or more but that would mean also upgrading to 64bit OS. Though I think you should do a full upgrade if you have dual core CPU, it's getting really outdated for games.
