I don't like this auction at all, just because for the fact that you have to "bid" on things. That means you sell all your stuff to afford atleast a crappy game and then you maybe don't even get it?

I emptied my inventory for gems (CSGO items ftw!), created booster packs and sold some of them.
Spent 15 euros on gems on the market, 5 euros came from those booster packs. (15000 gems)
Bought 70 CSGO backgrounds for 4,20 (7000 gems)
The way I see it I got this list of games for 14,20 euros. And I still have some nice booster packs left.
Most of them were wishlist games.

Just Legend of Dungeon for 2500 for me. I used my other 3,000 gems I had from scrapping inventory stuff I didn't want to sell on the market and it sits in my wallet for the games I do want when they hit 75% off during the Winter sale (today?)

it's ridiculous how many gems people are spending, even on bundled games. i "won" a mediocre (according to reviews anyway) non-bundled game for 1100 gems. i might even win it for less but didn't want to risk it since very few copies are left. also 100 more xp and an exclusive badge that i don't give a damn about... well, would be worse.

Since auction is nearly over, any clue what use are the left over gems?

Bid 1000 on Tiny Bang Story just so I could get the badge.

Converted cost for me was 0.30€, which is a good deal, but I didn't want the game to begin with really. Eh.

I got Check vs Mate at 1010 gems. So I ended up getting it for a little bit less than if i had gotten it at 90%, so I'm happy with my purchase.

Half of those are hidden object games. They were my first choice since I'm obsessed with them. After I got them I had all the hidden object games available on auction. Then I proceeded for the other genres. I was also supposed to win Metal Dead during the final bid but they just refunded the gems and didn't give me the game. I wasn't the only one though.
