Steamgifts Plus issue

I know it's been asked a billion times, but i can't seem to download the new extension for chrome. Whenever i drag the extension into the "extension" page, nothing happens. Also, it says "apps and extensions, and user scripts cannot be added from this website."

Any suggestions?

right click >> save link as. save to wherever in hard drive.

Open chrome extension page, drag the .js file on it

It comes up with a safarri image even though i'm in chrome. Nothing happens when I drag the file in.

then the error comes up when you drop it?

Try running chrome as admionisitrator

add these parameter @ google chrome shortcut

Right click on the shortcut for chrome on your desktop choose properties from the shell context menu and then under the target box add what MDuh said.

make sure it is after the quotes in the target box so it should be something like: "C:Program Files (x86)GoogleChromeApplicationchrome.exe" -enable-easy-off-store-extension-install

Aaaand now the alternative is broken. I'm going nuts not having my filters, etc. Makes me appreciate the effort that has gone into these scripts even more.
