I played the first one, got bored and never finished it. Most of the time I'm complaining about games being too short, but this one droned on and on and I kept hoping for it to end, and finally I just had enough and quit. I think I was pretty close to the end, I played a bit after the "big reveal" which was predictable.

I didn't bother with the second one, but picked it up cheap last sale so I could get the remastered collection.

I got Bioshock Infinite free (or maybe it was $1) from GMG/Playfire. I actually managed to finish it. It was OK, but nothing special. Once again, the story was predictable and I had it figured out long before the end.

I would say yes, but I don't see why you'd change your mind if the 1st game didn't amazed you the first time you tried it

Don't liked the first and second part of the game at all, but the last part was very nice.

It depends on what you like. The combat is average but the storytelling is masterful. So if you just want a RPG/FPS there are defiantly better games. The thing about Bioshock is that you have to explore and backtrack to understand the story. But the lore is wonderful. It's the kind of game that you play just for the story, not the gameplay.

Though Infinate did improve on the combat somewhat, and since it's not a direct sequel you can play it before the others. So maybe try that first? It's my favorite game so I'm a bit biased.

What the first game was about was infinitely more interesting and enjoyable than what the game itself actually is: A mediocre first person shooter. The ride is worth the ticket but if you play it once there's little reason to revisit.

The second game is the only actual good one. Actual moment-to-moment first-person shooting is actually fun, the realization of the gameplay promises offered by the first game that never quite materialized. While the story can't stand on its own it does manage to complement the first game's. Minerva's Den is a condensed version of the base game that stands on its own. Arguably even better than the base game.

Third game is all razzle dazzle without any substance. Even more mediocre than the first game but instead of being through provoking its just retarded. A quintessential example of a AAA turd. Might have been fantastic if it wasn't design by committee/publisher. Didn't play the DLCs, not going to. Saw Jesse Cox's Let's Play on them. Wasn't impressed. First one doesn't really add anything to the package, and the second is Ken Levine masturbating over his first game while rather shitting on the second.
