I was responding to the claim it was in a "cheapo bundle only recently", as the Uprising Bundle from 5 weeks ago that included Ziggurat was $5, and not in a recent $1-3 bundle.

Oh okay. Well despite this I suspect that tons of people will have gotten it from there and remember that, so even if it wasn't as recently as you'd like it still is quite underwhelming as a 'diamond' tier game.
Even if it hadn't been in Tier 1 of HIB 18 (and ignoring the other good bundle it was in) there's also the fact that the typical sale price is roughly equivalent to the extra cost you pay here for the extra 'diamond' game. If I am spending that much extra on a single game that you can't choose and is completely random then I'd want a better return on my money than a deal that can often just be purchased elsewhere on its own without having to get involved in any gambling shenanigans.
Now of course this has nothing to do with how good the game is, just how cheaply one could have acquired it.

It's the shady tactics that annoys me more than anything. I might happily pay 5 euro for Ziggurat on sale alone if I didn't get it in a bundle, heard it was good and worth the money. I'm not putting the game down in any way. Just think they have some cheek on them putting it as diamond tier while it was in such an inexpensive bundle recently.

Actually, there isn't much of a risk to buying one of these bundles for someone who is only starting their game collection. There are a lot of really good titles in there. Definitely better than their last mystery shite. I own too many of the games though, so definitely not worth it for me.
I already own For The King and LEGO Jurassic from diamond tier, both of which I won from giveaways outside of SG. Even less reason for me to try this.

What's going on with all the gambling bundles lately, iirc i bought like 1 bundle in the last 2 months due to the majority being either repeats or such gambling ones.

Gambling bundles and grey marketplaces are heavily endorsed and promoted by this community. Considering this and the drop in giveaways (even tho now we have free games and the constant flow of the dollar shovelware ... :p ) I dont see a too bright future for SG.

Really tired of this exploitative crap. For me at least Fanatical has completely lost all the trust and good will they had built up over the years. If I were going to 'gamble' I'd rather put the $$ towards a Humble Monthly bundle where you can at least see the early-reveals first.
