To receive the Key Code for a Game, you must purchase an Eligible System during the Campaign Period (begins February 15, 2016 and ends on December 31, 2016). Eligible Systems consists of a computer system manufactured and branded by one of the Participating OEM Vendors and System Builders (listed on Terms & Conditions) and containing one or more of the Eligible AMD Products (listed Terms & Conditions). Keep in mind that there are some people that still manage to get their Keys even if they haven't been eligible , so even If you purchased your eligible hardware before campaign still give it a go it might work out . :)

Well, I used the program and it everything was fine until I arrived at the retailer code page. It's a HP laptop that was bought from Best Buy. So... is there a retailer code? Also tried clicking skip but that just led me to a server error.

Contacted support with proof of purchase and they told me this:

Your computer system is not qualified for the promotion. To receive the Key Code for a Game, you must purchase an Eligible System during the Campaign Period (begins February 15, 2016 and ends on December 31, 2016). Bought my notebook two years ago and was able to grab a free key for it (AMD Radeon R9 M265X).

What did you enter for the retailer code? I have a HP notebook that is eligible as well, but I do not know what to input for the code. I also tried clicking on skip but all that did was give me a server error.

I didn't enter any retailer code. Just keep trying to skip it. It's gonna work eventually.

x2. I guess my next GPU will be NVIDIA even though I'm currently happy with my R9 290. AMD shouldn't be treating their customers like this

I guess, that there was some hype on web (saw that msg in a lot of different communitys) and they get a LOT of mails from people, that are not part of this "event".

At the beginnig most places didn't mention that you have to own a OEM-Build PC bought in feb 2016... And most people didn't read the terms of service too.

I mean... you can try it but don't act like "what the hell! they don't gave me a free game, they should burn in hell" if you don't get a free game...

+1 for this.

Same people would rage at nvidia, since asus had exploit in their sites that allowed to claim games they weren't eligible for. lol.

Got an email as well saying that I was not eligible since I don't have a complete amd system just an FX8320. What self respecting gamer buys a ready made system these days?

Well, funny thing: My friend has the same notebook as me (Dell Inspiron 15R, AMD R9 290, we bought them together like two years ago).
He got a game. I participated only one day after him and didn't get anything.
