Steam gifts wants me to switch to a public profile...

So I logged into steamgifts.com today, and it automatically brought me to the sync your account page. However, it wants me to switch to a public profile. I haven't changed anything on my account settings, but how do I do this? I'd really appreciate your help :D

You've to paste your steam password in at least 23 boards all over the internet to get around these setting
