I won't download it, but I love hidden/lost video game content, so this is really interesting. I'm very happy the devs were willing to share.

Based on the comments it will work with an emulator only. However, there is a modded version there for actual hardware. One person in the comments mentioned getting it to work on a PSP 3004, so hopefully I'll be able to run it on my PSP 3003 though it may require a firmware update.

300X is same for all regions, the last digit signifies the country of origin. The first digit is for the system model.

Knowing the internet in a week or so it will be working on all PSP's. There is no hardware limitation, just software one.

Was aware of it for a while now, but knew hardware couldn't play it, so I haven't got it yet. Seems that is finally changed though, so maybe tomorrow.

Have you ever heard about Saint's Row Undercover for PSP. No? I don't blame you, because the game was cancelled before completion.
Volition decided to release ISO of the last completed build. It contains a lot of placeholders, works only on dev consoles and emulators. It is nowhere near being finished. But still it can give a good idea how the game would look like.
