I recently played Hollow Knight and really got into the gameplay and the artwork style. I'm playing Blasphemous that has somewhat similar gameplay to it, but I'm also looking for a game that has a similar art style.

As was noted above, Ori and the Blind Forest (as well as it's sequel) are very likely to scratch that same itch as Hollow Knight. And if you're feeling a little adventurous, I've played Yoku's Island Express and thoroughly enjoyed it. Still that same hand drawn 2D Metroidvania experience, but instead of focusing on combat, it uses pinball mechanics for exploration and area traversal.

Good luck with the art style. Some good metroidvanias though:

If you like it, there's a second one out. Less tight platforming/combat, more puzzles spanning not just the entire zone, but multiple zones.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. If you haven't played it, you should. There's a reason half the genre name was because of this game.
And a lot less BS than Metroid.

Better than it looks.

Probly the closest in this list to looking like Hollow Knight.

Not bad. Definitely got a unique movement mechanic, which sounds a lot more clunky and terrible than it is.

+1 for The Messenger, Bloodstained, Momodora, and Axiom Verge.
Only played the first Ori, but it just... I dunno. Felt off. It's not bad, just... not as good as could be? The second is supposed to better.

Axiom Verge is up there with Hollow Knight in terms of difficulty, if that's what you're looking for. ;)

slackerfuu, I've played both Ori games, and while the first one is good, it's a normal, regular platformer, the second one draws extensively on the Hollow Knight ideas. I enjoyed both of them, but if someone is looking for a Hollow Knight-ish game, I would recommend trying the Will of the Wisps rather than the Blind Forest. Give it a try if you can, because it's really good :)

Yeah, I heard it was a lot better. And the first one wasn't bad, especially not enough to put me off a sequel. Just haven't gotten a chance to buy/play it yet. And won't for a while, still. On a laptop, and don't have a controller or external mouse.

2D platformer that has some similarities to Hollow Knight in terms of style.

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom
Aggelos
The Dragon's Trap

...Somewhat, Creepy Castle

[Edit] Also, Feudal Alloy is fine as a Metroidvania, if you don't mind a total lack of story behind the game.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - bit retro but it defends itself even today
However you can't find it on steam :(

I played first Ori and can definitely recommend it too
