Hello gamers,

We have just launched the DIG MarketPlace.
This allows our users to sell unused STEAM keys obtained from somewhere else for DIG Points, and purchase various other games from our entire store.

Here is a live list of available games:

As usual, your feedback is welcome :)

Any news about a "Hide games" button like here on SG? I wrote a mail some months ago and you said you are working on it.

Meanwhile, we have added a search button.

More features on the way.

Thanks for adding things, but you need to work to avoid scammers, seller rating is easy to cheat as far I can see. An easy way to help us to avoid scammers, I think... is to show linked seller steam account. Maybe is not the best, but could help, and I think is easy for you to develop.

And very soon, seller rating abuse will be next to impossible ... or possible at a "cost" which won't make it worth.
Keep an eye out.

Meanwhile my seller rating goes down more and more because of scammers. Damn...

Whoever purchased the fix me fix you soundtrack:
017-12-14 Fix Me Fix You 8NA6X

  • my appologies this was a was a mistake on my part with the api number that gave my brain a burp
Indigala gave this http://store.steampowered.com/app/601570/ for the hyperlink of the soundtrack for some reason - just checked the link in my database and that is the number provided for both the main game and the soundtrack in the hyperlinks that indigala ouput :( - not sure why it is not different to the main game api - and I simply matched this link with the code given in DIG :(

Please allow us to add game by steamID and not by name, some names are weird and sometimes you are not able to add game when there are limited number of results (for example try to add game AWA.. )

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Will do so.
You can also type some character from inside the game name, not just the beginning :)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

AWA is already the full name. Just see here, you cannot create trades for games with a short name.

Type AWA.
Click outside the text box until the drop down dissapears.
Click the box to enter the STEAM key.

Voila :)

O.O
I didn't even realize there was a dropdown until I saw the screen cap marsHm311oW posted. I use HTTPS everywhere and I guess that keeps the script for the dropdown from loading!

Have a "ranting" based...? I think you mean "rating". ^^

I noticed there is a new row when creating trade - STEAM Price: (current game price on STEAM)
Is it possible to add new column with this info to marketplace ?
So user can compare prices (some times there is better price on steam as the trader is asking for it)

Working on this (it takes quite a lot of server load) ... but when you click the BUY button, the STEAM price is being displayed before you purchase.

Hmm, not sure if this is the right place. But I was wondering if there is any plans to add links to steam pages to titles on the "account" page.

I will see if we can do that.

has the page with the bundles on gone somewhere? - clicking through the main page banners is somwhat confusing now and no way to get to the current bundles (assuming they are still running - and at the time of writing - of course it is just as likely that I am having a dumb day :P)

All 3 bundles ended yesterday.
We won't be doing anymore bundles, since that business model is pretty much irrelevant now.

Permalink

no problem - that is sad to hear - as I liked the bundles :( - one click purhcases of a game Bundle (multiples of) is so much easier than multiple clicks on the DIG Shop :(

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

We rather add the games directly to the store now. It's better for everyone.

Permalink

edited to add the reason why that was sad for me - so back to indigala for bundles then :) - pity really as it was the reason I came to DIG - not the store area!

So you will delete "Trade STEAM keys" too? Without any bundle its useless to let it stay.

ps.:
http://www.dailyindiegame.com/account_editprofile.html

Notes:

  • DO NOT ENTER the entire STEAM link to you profile.

English is not my native language but I think it should be "to your profile" and not "to you profile".

It should be "Just your ID ..." not "Just yourID ...".

Sorry exosyphen but why do i have to fill up so many personal details just to topup my DIG points via PayPal? Can you please revert it (at least for PayPal) so i can choose the amount to topup e.g. $6 instead of having it fixed at $5 and also not have to fill in my personal details? Thanks

Sorry about this, but we are moving to a new processor for various business reasons.
VAT and other are a hassle in the EU :(

Then no more paying for DIG points for me. What the hell do you need all my details, even including phone number, for? And I can not even choose the amount of Dig Points I want to purchase? It is fixed at five? What is this here, the amateur hour?

You can enter anything in the phone number, etc.
It's the way our payment processor works.

Agree with AmanoTC. I tried to use a fake number for the topup and all my other details were the same as my PP account and i keep getting the error message below. Please use a better payment processor. Thank you

Yes, a countdown will be added in the coming days, way before we reach the OFFICIAL midnight.

By trades purchased do you mean number of games you sold on marketplace or purchased yourself on marketplace?

Purchases. Not sales. It's mentioned correctly on the chart page.

Naah, for more rare and expensive keys someone's gonna bullshit or revoke the keys after a while with stolen credit card. Sooo, no thanks. :)

As a suggestion, I would add some extra explanations under the "STEAM numerical ID" field.

Namely, that there are 2 formats for profile URLs:

There are a lot of people who have a custom URL and might not know how to find the ID64 based on that (they might also not know what they are expected to input there)

Hello, curious about something regarding your DIG Marketplace feedback feature.

I purchased several 5 cent garbage dlc keys from the DIG Marketplace, and they were all working keys, but most were keys for slightly different garbage dlc than the Steam Store link indicated. Do you want positive feedback because the keys worked, or negative because they weren't quite the correct thing?

Thank you! :)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Just my personal opinion, but as long as the key is not exactly what was promised you should give negative feedback.

If it's a DLC that includes the one you wanted or gives you the same stuff, then it's fine I guess.

But just think about people that already own the other DLC.

Its the same as you win here a game. You win GTA III but got a key for GTA V, then mark it as not received.

Permalink

If the key is not for the STEAM app id that was advertised, feel free to mark it negative,

Hey nice contest, but I was also hoping for contest for sellers.. not only buyers :)

Permalink

Not much we can do there, as you can't control your sales.
What we can do, is lower your fees after a certain threshold. I will see what we can do in that direction.

Permalink

Jeha well, if you offer good games for good prices you will sell more ^^.

But yes, indeed a little harder to compete on purpose as a seller.

The key for Invasion of Barbarians i bought from you just got revoked. According to the forums on steam the dev is revoking keys en masse.

This doesn't seem to be a "Deals" thread at all. Rather than calling attention to a limited-time offer so that people don't miss it, this looks like an advertisement designed to redirect traffic away from our site.

SteamGifts is not an electronic billboard to be used by other sites as free advertising. The purpose of this site is to enable people to give away their Steam games. While we do allow people to plug their sites and/or services within the descriptions of their giveaways, such advertising is secondary to SteamGifts' purpose.

Please take time to review the SteamGifts Guidelines and FAQ.

Closing thread.
