I find that stuff to be incredibly useful. Knowing how to handle thread and needle can be handy!

It is a shame that stuff like sewing is not learnt by more people anymore. It would help a lot with some minor problems like buttons. I had once to do it for some trousers. Glady, a co-worker explained it to me and watched over me so I don't do anything stupid.
