Recommend me some good RTS games.

Company of Heroes if you want something in WW2

C&C if you want the whole "build a base" thing

There are too many good rts. Go on sgifts chat or add me. we will talk. Rts depends on what genres you like etc. Some play very differently then others. There are some overlooked rts as well.

Supreme Commander Forged Alliance

Company of Heroes, Men of War , World in Conflict.

Starvoid is a good RTS, i bought it yesterday and it's really original (10 minutes a match, fast repop...etc) But the fact i like it doesn't mean you'll like it :x

Ground Control 2 is an amazing sci-fi RTS.
It has a good multiplayer too, but i doubt somebody plays it - the game is kinda old already, released in 2004. It is also not on Steam, sadly. But it is on GoG.

starcraft broodwar is the best by far and you can get it free and play on iccup

Dawn of war (+ Winter Assault and Dark Crusade).

AI war fleet command won this game here and im loving it

age of mythology.

C&C series definately.The Generals is set in the nearest future. I can't really talk about the others because, I can't remember

Stronghold is a great game, different setting than Starcraft though.

I recommend Emperor: Battle for Dune. May be difficult to get but totally worth it.

You can play also Dune II: The Building of a Dynasty (or Battle for Arrakis in some regions) and Dune 2000 because they are prequels to Emperor.

Also, Dune II is one of the first RTS games and imho the most important in the genre. Dune 2k is just a remake of Dune 2 with live action cut-scenes and improved gameplay (in Dune II you can select one unit at a time and defeating the enemy requires throwing your entire army (not mentioning truly limited resources)... difficult as hell but feasable, I did it a few years ago).

Warcraft 3

Compnay of Heroes is the Best RTS (besides Age of Empires 2) imo

Starcraft II obviously.

League of legends , age of mythology , age of empires , Total war : rome etc..

The original Total Annihilation + Expansions. Loved that RTS to death.

Supreme Commander, C&C 3: Tiberium Wars, World in Conflict

Dawn of War (I or II), Supreme Commander, Sins of A Solar Empire (more of a 4x RTS...), Impossible Creatures (Sci-fi/Steampunk sort of vibe to it), & Star Wars: Empire at War.
