I don't think it's permanent. "Today, as a part of GOG.com 5th birthday celebration, you can play for it absolutely FREE!"

Also, after adding it to my library it doesn't have a "Free" label.

It is permanent, Flight of the Amazon Queen has been freeware for nearly 10 years.

I doubt they would have included "Free Release" in the title, if it wasn't. I also think they've been very clear about those games that have been free for a limited time. This on the other hand doesn't say "today only" or anything along those lines.
