Given points to those who creates giveaways

That would only increase the spam of fake giveaways I suppose..And I don't think that for people who actually want to contribute points are that much of a concern. The inflow is quite high.

The answer has always been no in response to this suggestion.

Yeah yeah... i dont like where this is going. I'm fine that people who make giveaways get an extra quantity of points (instead of the usual 10%, perhaps 20% or 25% of the entry value on your giveaway). Fake giveaways would be reported and would lead to a ban, so people abusing this wouldn't win anything at all for being cheap.

I've never thought this was a good idea, but I finally have a few giveaways of my own now so that people might consider my thoughts differently :P

A lot of fake giveaways make it through the system. Adding more to the list would increase the number that get by the mods. Not to mention that most people who are giving games away don't really need the extra points.

Oh great, I'll just Create a Deus Ex Human Revolution giveaway and get 100 Points!

I do think that they should get a slightly increased amount, maybe double the normal amount, but not as much as double the game's value. And yes, this may increase the number of fake giveaways, but that also means that the people posting fake giveaways would be cleared out faster (hopefully).

It could work if the submitter received the points from a giveaway after the gift had been verified as being received.
