I don't really mind about CV I was just curious. Don't have many more copies anyway.

You should see the CV some of us get for Fortix.

Man, good times.

Where'd you get so many of them? Trades?

Purchased them from the Steam store, though it was bundled at one point as well.

I wonder if any site sells keys for it? I could make another giveaway for it then. :P

Bundlestars actually has it: https://www.bundlestars.com/en/game/fortix

Sweet, something to consider when I have some cash to waste.

Seeing how you have Smart Person tag, isn't there a hard limit after which every GAs would give 0 CV?

I'm pretty sure I remember something like that, but can't say for sure.

Unfortunately, that tag doesn't make me perfect, I don't have any insider knowledge on this. But to my knowledge, while it technically doesn't, when you are getting ever decreasing fractions of a cent per game, it might as well be.

Maybe I'm just misremembering something, or confuse one limit with another.

Oh well, no big deal, thanks anyway.

Nope. It will be reduced by 10% for every copy after the fifth, but stacking multiplicatively. So it will never actually reach zero. Depends on how many decimals and what kind of rounding is done on SG's end, though...

Yeah, I was thinking if it is possible to actually reach zero. Interesting.

Well, mathematically it's impossible but practically it probably would be rounded to zero sooner or later, once the number of decimals exceeds what the system is capable of (or set to) handling. But who knows, maybe it's going to always round up for some reason? I guess only cg would know assuming he's the one that set up the technical details.

Nah, that's not the way it works afaik.
Taking the example on the FAQ: "8 copies of a $10 game, would add $74.39 (10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 9 + 8.10 + 7.29)", if you see, 9 is 10% less than 10, yes. But then it is 8.10, that's 10% less than 9.00.
It's not like 10% of 10 is 1 and always you cut $1, it's taken the 10% from the "last copy". It will never reach 0.

Taking your GA, you should get $17.37 CV (2 + 2 + 2 +2 + 2 + 1.80 + 1.62 + 1.458 + 1.3122 + 1.18098) from it (assuming you didn't gave away the game before).

Many thanks for the GA!.

Yeah, but what I was thinking if it is possible to actually reach zero

Mathematically it's impossible, but it can happen due to rounding errors. You will reach the point where it will not matter much earlier, though.

Not 0, but it's below 0.04 by now.

The game is bundled, so $1.99 * 0.15 value, declining after 5th copy. After 37 copies you will receive less than $0.01 of CV per copy.

100th copy is worth $0.00001342711573091 :)
