The average at the beggining was 5 dollars. Then, with the Starbound move, it up to 10 dollars.

Seeing how I wasn't interested in Starbound, it looks like they won't see my money for HBX at all, unless BTA falls down, as it's too high for me.

I think it is kind of bullshit. Artificially inflate the average and bait and switch people who purchase the bundle thinking they'll get Starbound but then they run out of keys during checkout without informing the customer.

I guess it is clever in a scammy sort of way.

It's also my thought, but at least, the price is decreasing for now, $6.80, that's not so bad for what's in this bundle.

Compared to other HIBs this bundle is lackluster. Even some of the Android bundles were probably better. When I say "better" I refer to a combination of general critical acclaim and pre-bundle fanbase (and whether the game has been bundled before).

After the amazing 9th HIB I think we were all expecting something on atleast that level to celebrate the release of their 10th bundle, especially since they have been hyping it on twitter for a week and posted "X" pictures. In hindsight this is really hilarious.

To the Moon has already been bundled before and Papo & Yo was featured on IndieGameStand ($1). Repeats in their 10th bundle is just sad.

Maybe they shot their own foot when they launched their store. Due to the huge following Humble has accumulated, indie games in their virtual store are already getting loads of exposure there + the decelopers are getting a way better price per unit. They may have made their own original product (the bundle) unattractive to developers. Not sure if this is on purpose, the store might simply be a more profitable business.

On a positive note fearing indies being bundled right after buying them might soon be a thing of the past :) Now I regret not just buying Tetrobot and The Swapper during past sales. Oh well.

1000 people got starbound. Usually a HIB sells around half a million copies. Evaluating the overall quality of the bundle this way is idiotic. And I actually got a copy.
