____Hello
I hope that many use the ESGST extension I recently installed and look at many features. Tell me what is the most useful. My eyes go wild, though I don’t understand how it works.

Trading isn't allowed here so doubt they allow that you link us your Steamtrade profile if we are interested because that implies you want to trade!

It is ownded by the same person, but to make sure people don't use Steamgifts for trades, they made that rule and now that Steamtrades lost all mods, it's a mess and they want that mess to stay there and not come here XD

"Essential":

  1. Grid View.
  2. Endless Scrolling.
  3. Giveaway Extractor.

Useful:

  1. Filters.
  2. Mark discussions as visited when visiting them.

Thinks I personally enjoy

  1. Game Ratings.
  2. "Points to Win".

You mean, how to turn it on? Or you are asking what that means?

TO TURN IT ON: here is a hint: you can actually TYPE a word in ESGST's search box (click on the ESGST button, there is a search box near the top of the window). Type "endless scrolling" there and you will find it quickly.

WHAT IT DOES: if you try to scroll down past the end of a page (which belongs to a series of pages), it automatically loads the next one in the series.

What's the upside to grid view? Is there a screen shot anywhere? I've used ESGST since the day I joined (I spent the time to tweak things the way I like though I never did get around to setting a dark theme & changing icon colors accordingly) but never tried the Grid Option. I sort of over looked it as I was didn't see an example of it's functionality right off. πŸ€”

If you have the time please mention why the grid view is preferable or if possible a screen shot link would be fantastic. If you don't have the time; no worries. πŸ™‚ I'll check it myself at some point. Regardless thanks for posting as I always find it interesting to see what features others use. As well as see if they may be of use to me. Thanks for posting.πŸ‘

I can see about 60 GAs in one screen (instead of the 9 or 10 in list form), so it is a lot quicker to find the GAs I want to enter. My guess is that, once you use it, you will never want to go back to the list view.

(But, hey, you might hate it, who knows.... :D :D)

Here is the screenshot from the Chrome Webstore (mine is a little different, since I use no borders, but this should get the idea across):

Thanks for the info. I'll have to check it out & see. Somehow I totally missed that image! πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
Grid view is one of the very few options I haven't messed with much.I don't think I ever tried it looking at that image. No idea why I missed or didn't try grid view. As I pretty much went down the entire list reading & setting each option. πŸ€” Who knows; I can't recall? πŸ˜€
I'll have to put put you on my WL of nice friendly people. πŸ™‚ Thanks again for the image. πŸ‘

You know, I am not sure that image was there until very recently, so maybe there is a good reason why you never saw it... :D

Thanks for the WL! :D

Depends on how you use SG. For me, Enter / Leave Giveaway Button, One-Click Hide Giveaway Button and Game Categories.

Besides what was already mentioned I recommend Hidden Games Manager. You can use it to add all banned games and all games/dlcs you own to your filtered/hidden games list on SG.

oh thanks, I'll take a closer look at the days, at the manager. If that's what I think it's gonna take a lot of work off my hands :D
