I listed an item in the steam community market then it said error...

after that my item which was supposedly was going to be sold, was removed from my inventory.

What do I do now, I can't even see it nor listed in the market.

Any suggestions?

Check your market history, it should show your recently listed/ sold / and purchased items. If its not there, it probably didn't list. If its in neither, contact valve.

^ Check first, the market's often Wonky so try refreshing and restarting too, if that doesn't work and checking the market history shows nothing then support.

apparently the items that I traded were sent back to me...(duplicated?)

and my friends inventory doesn't show the items that I want...(but still has the items that I sent over to him)

What does the market have to do with a private transaction between you and your friend?

trade offers, the problem occurred when I try to sell the traded item.

my items came back but my friend still has the items that I gave to him.

But the items which he gave to me were gone...

Ah, that definitely sounds like a glitch. Trade offers is a relatively new feature, so problems like this aren't surprising. Hopefully Steam will sort it out for you.

does this glitch go off by its own or do I have to contact steam support?

No idea. I think Valve need to intervene so send a support ticket and they should be able to sort everything out.

Take screens, you can check history, that's what I did one time I was trading TF2 items and the other side lost the item due to an error, I opened my inventory history tab and screenshotted for them as well as providing my confirmation that he indeed went through with the transaction. So I'm not sure if this new feature works the exact same way but I think you can still check inventory history.

Don't rush to contact support, this happened to me 3 or 4 times, and i got my items back after a day or two. ;)

I'm making one just to be sure, steam support usually take 1 week to reply...
