I wouldn't say it's all random, there's a natural order to things. But there's no natural order pertaining to us anymore, and there's definitely no such thing as karma beyond our own construction and implementation of it.

Karma's something people tell themselves so that they can sleep better. We have a certain control over some aspects of our lives primarily enforced through decision making.
But saying bad things will happen to bad people because of karma? No, that's random, coincidence. Bad things happen to people who are good to others too. And while on that... what is good and bad anyway? Its all relative.
