Your First Anime?

Amm... If we are consider the animes I watched when I was young and I didnt knew it called anime so Dragon Ball.
If we dont consider that so High School DXD

Yeah, my first favourite anime was 闘将ダイモス (Tōshō Daimos) aired in early 90's on polish TV channel Polonia 1. It used be Italian dub, with polish voice-over (only OP and ED in japanese). I watched japanese version many years later. Another one I really enjoyed was アミテージ・ザ・サード (Armitage III). You could buy it on VHS from Planet Manga shop via phone call (and pay for it at local Post Office). Then Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, Slayers, Naruto and many more later. But technically my first anime ever would be probably みつばちマーヤの冒険 (Mitsubachi Māya no bōken) - Adventures of Maya the Honeybee, called in polish Pszczółka Maja.

Pokemon or DBZ would've been the first I saw. Then there was Toonami and I saw a couple episodes of Cyborg 009, Inuyasha, and Trigun. I never really watched them, though and still had no idea what anime was. Later I went about looking for anime to watch and ended up watching Black Butler and then Stein's;Gate.

I'd have to say, my first was probably Inuyasha. I remember staying up late with my brother to watch it.....Good times.

Not sure... Transformers, Mazinger Z, Voltron... I saw a lot of TV when I was a little kid.

No idea what the first one was i saw (and new that it was an anime) when i was little....maybe something like Heide, Captn Future etc.....no recollection what had run here when.

But the first Anime i bought was Ghost in the Shell...and i think it was mainly this video why i knew about it at the time

I can't remember which first but those are definitely the first ones, over 30 years ago.

Mine was a movie called Violence Jack it was pretty sweet If stuff like Transformers are also anime then yeah prob Transformers G1 was first

Dragon Ball Z Kai, and I recently finally decided to fully binge watch it. Totally worth it without the filler!

First animes I've seen were 'Tao Tao', 'Heidi' and 'Maya the Honey Bee', later on 'Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs' and 'Treasure Island'. However as child I did neither know not care that these have been animes. First mangas have been 'Akira' and 'Neon Genesis Evangelion'.

Well I guess Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Digimon were technically first, but the first Anime after I learned about Anime was probably Fairy Tail, so yeah?

I don't know which one was my first (maybe Pokémon in the 2000s), but the first one I watched subbed was Mayo Chiki, a classical harem/ecchi/comedy/romance anime.

I can't remember properly. But it was either Dragon Ball or Blue Submarine No. 6.

I didn't realize what anime was until around my 3rd (DBZ) or 4th (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) anime.
