Your First Anime?

I think the first animation I ever got into was Voltron, after that I have no idea what was actually next whatever was on cartoon networks toonami I watched, Dragon Ball, DBZ, different Gundams, outlaw star, cowboy bebop, banner of the stars. Over 300 anime series and counting have been knocked off my to watch list though.

first anime that i downloaded subbed was death note.

first anime i saw was dragon ball when i was kid via Television in my country.

I watched Naruto and Pokemon as a kid but didn't really care for anime until I watched Samurai Champloo. Freaking masterpiece

My first anime film is Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and My first serie anime is Hana no Ko Run Run and Saint Seiya.

Since i was kid (8yo till 10yo, more or less) , there was a lot of anime on Cartoon Network and other channels too, i could say dbz, inuyasha, ramna, yu yu hakusho, samurai champloo, samurai x,etc. Anyway i dont remember too much about them... Then, one day there were no more channels that show any anime, so i stopped seeing anything from it... by my 14 yo i've started again by a friend, and it was with Elfen Lied, so watched lot of shit for a year or so and then stopped again, and by now (20 yo) i just watch some of the most famous, old ones mostly, like evangelion, berserk, etc. Also i read some mangas when im too bored...

The morning trifecta before school which usually had me out the door late was poke, yugi, dbz. Man, re-watching classic yugioh a few weeks ago... they really can't play that game for shiiit.

I think the first 'real' anime was when I started catching neon genesis evangelion on a less mainstream channel that aired after this crazy new show called southpark I had to watch like a ninja in my room.

Spirited away and Totoro was my first anime films, than i started anime series with Death Note :)

I think that would be this one.

First one probably is Pokémon, but the first subbed anime I've watched is Death Note.

I can vaguely remember watching Digimon (Season 1), Gundam Wing, or Doraemon when I was a small kid.
Don't know which comes first.

On television all i had was pokémon and i love(d) it, but then finally this movie "Spirited Away" came along and i started doing some research on the internet ... well since then (i think that was about 5 years ago) a whole new world opened up for me and anime is now a huge part of my life ^_^

My first few anime i started out on was Steins;gate and Anohana

It's a hard question. Back then I didn't knew about anime existence)
Probably it was The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, or Wonder Beat Scramble. I'm not sure what was first... Maybe something else - my memories are too foggy. Surprisingly a lot of animations I liked in childhood appeared to be anime)

Yu Gi Oh back when I was 10, I think it's the only anime I've seen too.

Giant Robo movies on late night scifi channel
